Position
A contractor built around sequence
Most construction problems are scheduling problems wearing a different hat. A tile crew arriving before the substrate is level, a cabinet delivery landing before the floor is in, an inspection booked before the electrician has finished — each one costs a week and a portion of the finish quality.
The company is set up to remove those collisions: one lead per project, a written sequence before the first day, and trades booked against that sequence rather than against availability.
An honest note: FKBL Construction is not a real operating contractor. It is a demonstration company created by FKBL to show construction and renovation businesses what their own website, customer pipeline and admin system could look like.
One point of responsibility
A single site lead owns the schedule, the trades and the answers. You are never routed between subcontractors.
Written before verbal
Scope, allowances, exclusions and changes exist in writing. A verbal agreement on a job site does not survive the week.
Sequence over speed
Work is scheduled so nothing is opened twice. That is what protects both the budget and the finish.
Finish standard is fixed
The level of finishing does not change with the size of the contract.
